Tapan Das (Akshay Kumar), a team manager, is a patriot who has his own share of personal struggles. The film revisits the time when India won its first iconic Gold medal as an independent nation. The plot depicts the troubled times before India attained freedom, and makes you experience an eerie in the environment.

Movie review: The film is engaging and is developed to hold the attention of the viewer. The performances are all top-notch. Sometimes one might wonder that the story depiction of other team players could have added an edge to the movie. Be it Akshay, Mouni, Sunny or Vineet, all have tried to deliver their best. However, Kunal showcased his talent in the second half only, but took the stage by his talent. Mouni Roy looks phenomenal throughout the movie and has tried very well to leave an impression on the viewers. At times, the movie appears similar to Chak De India but it is after the interval which brings a change in the flow of the movie.

Our verdict: The movie Gold promises power-packed performances from the collective cast and is helmed in a magnificent way by the director, Reema Kagti. The movie is surely going to thrill you, in a patriotic and distinctive way. The movie is worth a watch, especially on independence day.

Directed by :Reema Kagti Produced by: Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar Written by: Javed Akhtar (Dialogue) Screenplay by: Rajesh Devraj Story by: Reema Kagti, Rajesh Devraj Starring: Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh, Sunny Kaushal, Jatin Sarna, Nikita Dutta, Bhawsheel Singh Sahni Music by: Sachin–Jigar Cinematography: Álvaro Gutiérrez Edited by: Anand […]

[9,66
8891,7337,7612
0":"post-78196","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-movies","8":"category-reviews","9":"tag-bollywood-movie-2018","10":"tag-bollywood-movie-review","11":"tag-hindi-movie-review
["GET
