Movie Plot<\/strong><\/p>\n

Directed and written by Milap Milan Zaveri, this film takes a bold, ruthless take on the corruption. The film shows the underbelly of Mumbai, uncovering the ugly face of the system, penetrated deeply with crime and deceit. The film is focused on the Khaki world and its internal working, which soon meets with a jolt.<\/p>\n

The whole police department gets shaken after the vigilante John Abraham (Vir) takes the matter in his own hands and starts a series of merciless killing of corrupt police officers. Four of the officers are even burnt alive. To put a stop on the murders, Manoj Bajpayee (DCP Shivansh) is asked to step in. What follows is a series of confrontation between the two. However, there’s a twist, Bajpayee is not a bad apple among the officers. Both of them want the same thing- a corruption-free police department. So will they unite despite having completely different ways of approaching the Big Problem?<\/p>\n

Film Review<\/strong><\/p>\n

The film has a strong message of anti-corruption, but the way it goes about to deliver it is not very pleasing. Sure, films use violence to make a point but the gore in this movie is of different brand altogether. The brand which many viewers are not accustomed to watch. The kerosene, matchsticks, burning flesh of the living is plain barbaric. But, yes the thrills are there.<\/p>\n

John\u2019s performance is fine. His biceps, muscles as usual treat for some and inspiration to others. Manoj Bajpayee has done quite a nice job, but it\u2019s definitely not his best. The newcomer Aisha Sharma looks promising.<\/p>\n

Our Verdict<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even if you\u2019re a hardened viewer, even then you might find some scenes very gruesome. But if you like a challenge to sit through all that, then do go for it. John is definitely the USP. So, you might consider watching it for him, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
