It generally comes during the summer season, however the cold storage has meant that the vegetables can be enjoyed through the year. <em>Bhindi<\/em> has its share among the Indian dishes like <em>bhindi do pyaza<\/em>, <em>bhindi masala<\/em> and so on. <em>Bhindi<\/em> is known to contain high fiber, folate and vitamin C . So, just like any other green vegetable, it is good for health. Those of you who go to the vegetable market to pick <em>bhindi<\/em> would know how to look for quality You need to make sure that the <em>bhindi<\/em> is fairly flexible, else the vegetable would not turn out well. Just being true to creating and cooking more variety with same vegetables, I made this <em>kurkuri bhindi<\/em>. The dish is good to have as a side in your meal or may be as a snack. I am fairly sure you will get requests to create this again and again, so bookmark this recipe for <em>kurkuri bhindi<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Kurkuri Bhindi<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Bhindi<\/em> &#8211; 250 gm<\/li>\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>Coriander powder &#8211; 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li><em>Garam masala<\/em> powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Red chili powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li><em>Chaat masala<\/em> &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Oil for frying<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make Kurkuri Bhindi<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash and wipe the <em>bhindi<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Cut in long stripes from the middle.<\/li>\n<li>Mix all <em>masala<\/em> except salt.<\/li>\n<li>Use the above mixture to mix with <em>bhindi<\/em> in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Heat the oil in a heavy-bottom pan.<\/li>\n<li>Once the oil is very hot, add the <em>bhindi<\/em> and fry till it is brown and crispy.<\/li>\n<li>Remove in a plate lined with kitchen napkin and sprinkle salt over the top.<\/li>\n<li>Serve <em>kurkuri bhindi<\/em> immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bhindi or ladyfinger or okra is a green vegetable used all over India.
