Do you know how dangerous trans fats are for your health? Trans fats are one of the worst enemies of your body and increase the risk of obesity, cancer, and inflammation. They raise the levels of bad cholesterol in the blood and lower the good cholesterol levels. Regular consumption can lead to the development of type 2 diabetes, stroke and heart diseases. Many foods which we regularly consume are loaded with trans fats. So, if you want to lose weight then strictly avoid items which contain trans fat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These tasty treats can overload your body with tonnes of calories providing almost no essential nutrients to nourish the body. It is mostly consumed while watching a movie. Popcorn, in general, is healthy but the case is not the same with microwaved popcorn. This whole grain and antioxidants rich snack when buttered and microwaved contains nearly 5 grams trans fat per serving. Sometimes, it is coated with solid coconut fat to enrich the taste. Refrigerated or frozen food has a texture which appears really pleasing to the taste buds but it contains trans fats in high amount. They are usually loaded with sugar and hydrogenated vegetable oils which contain trans fat. Also, the frosting of these cakes and pastries gives a whopping dose of calories. More than 2 grams of trans fat is present in an average serving.<br \/>\n<strong>Alternate:<\/strong> Avoid eating cakes or pastries in large amount. But, as fries are deep fried in vegetable oil or any other hydrogenated oil, there is a high amount of trans fat present in them. So, before you buy fries keep in mind that it contains nearly 6 grams of trans fat in one serve.<br \/>\n<strong>Alternate:<\/strong> Eat baked potato chips instead of fries.
