Shakespeare once said \u201cwhat’s there in a name\u201d, \u201ca rose by any other name would smell as sweet\u201d. But, in today’s time, there is a dire need of a common language to connect otherwise it becomes really difficult to communicate. With the advent of globalisation, it has become tough to explain to each other what we want to say. To curb this problem and avoid confusion, scientists have given \u201cscientific names\u201d to each and every recognised species on Earth. The scientific names consists of two parts usually – the genus and the name of the species. These words are standardised and are used for reducing confusion and make communication easy.<\/p>\n
