We all know what they say about moving into desolated, dark houses. But apparently, this family doesn’t know about this age-old speculated habitat of ghosts. Even when a strange and dishevelled man jumps in front of them to warn them subtly, they just don’t get it. Even when the little kid (you’ll love this ‘junior’ artist, both for his cuteness and lovely acting) tells his mom about his two ‘imaginary’ friends \u2013 Manish and Jyoti, the family still takes it all lightly. Two deaths later, they finally start getting the grip. But, too late now. Ghosts don’t like slow people.<\/p>\n

Some moments are really spooky and will tremble you to the core. Totally worth for a Saturday night watch.<\/p>\n

II. Darna Mana Hai (2003)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Darna<\/a><\/p>\n

They give a lot of flak to RGV for his bizarre plots. But, this is one of his few movies where you see his impressive ingenuity – a completely unique and innovative concept ever tried for a horror genre.<\/p>\n

What happens when you are hung up in a forest with your friends because your car broke down? You tell each other horror stories to kill the time. You don’t? Okay, fine. Maybe we can do better without the part two version. The stories are gripping and at the end will take you by surprise, a really frightening one. You might even finally develop some respect for Varma’s ‘aag’ for films.<\/p>\n

III. 13B (2009)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The daily soap opera’s kin is just like our family, is it? Does it also have events which are identical to the happenings in your daily life? If yes, then you should be worried. Madhavan encounters in this thrilling flick some very mindbending episodes. Whatever happens in the serial, happens in their lives as well. And, when the things take a wrong turn in the TV series, it really is the time to uncover the horrifying mystery. There takes a lot to keep the audience hooked till the end, and this film just has it all.<\/p>\n

IV. Bhoot (2003)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Bhoot\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Another story of a family moving into a haunted house. Possession follows. But, the USP of this film is the scary quotient which soars high here and there. Urmila’s performance is spectacular. And, guess what, it is another great venture of Ram Gopal while he was still doing the sane work. So, don’t miss on this one. You’re welcome.<\/p>\n

V. 1920 (2008)<\/strong><\/p>\n

One more haunted place. This time it’s a royal mansion. And, the ghost is none other than a disloyal Indian soldier from the pre-independence era. The whole story itself is set in 1920. There are reincarnation and associated episodes. But, what would really give you spin-thrilling chills is the exorcism and the mad struggle of the ghost with it. Trepidation is one feeling which will be with you till the end! Go enjoy.<\/p>\n
