It is known for its pleasant climate and a well-maintained colonial structure. The authorities have given much emphasis to preserve the greenery by restricting the use of motor vehicles. Nevertheless, a trip on the narrow-gauge railway provides mesmerizing views of the enchanting scenery. Some of the famous spots include Panorama point through which one can have glimpses of the views across the western ghats. Louisa point, Prabal Fort are some other famous tourist attraction one can&#8217;t miss out. You can chill out with your family by sitting beside the Charlotte lake and can watch the flock of migratory birds heading towards their temporary nest. Omkareshwara temple, dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva is a perfect worship place for a theist. A visit to Auli is incomplete without taking a trip to Badrinath temple, a famous pilgrimage site. Located nearby is the Valley of Flowers National Park where one would come across lovely flowers.
