2. Matheran<\/strong><\/p>\n

Matheran is located near Mumbai, in Maharashtra, a hill station famously known as \u201ccutest hill station of India\u201d. It is known for its pleasant climate and a well-maintained colonial structure. The authorities have given much emphasis to preserve the greenery by restricting the use of motor vehicles. Nevertheless, a trip on the narrow-gauge railway provides mesmerizing views of the enchanting scenery. Some of the famous spots include Panorama point through which one can have glimpses of the views across the western ghats. Louisa point, Prabal Fort are some other famous tourist attraction one can’t miss out. You can chill out with your family by sitting beside the Charlotte lake and can watch the flock of migratory birds heading towards their temporary nest. During the evening one can sense the fragrance of incense spreading across the lake from Pisharnath Mahadev Mandir.<\/p>\n
