Known as the southern Sushma Swaraj, she is expected to give a strong fight to TDP\u2019s Bharat Mathukumilli and YSRCP candidate MVV Satyanarayana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Vijayawada<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kesineni Srinivas-Nani (TDP)<\/li>\n<li>Potluri V. Prasad (YSRCP)<\/li>\n<li>Naraharisetty Narasimharao (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Kilaru Dilip (BJP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Arunachal Pradesh<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Arunachal West<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kiren Rijiju (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Nabam Tuki (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Subu Kechi (PPA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju (BJP) has a tougher fight this time with Nabam Tuki (INC) and Subu Kechi (PPA). The controversy around the Citizenship Amendment Bill has impacted the usual voter base.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Kaliabor<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gaurav Gogoi (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Moni Madhab Mahanta (AGP)<\/li>\n<li>Abdul Aziz (NPP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi\u2019s son, Gaurav Gogoi is up against a tough candidate in MM Mahanta (AGP) and Abdul Aziz (NPP). NPP is a dark horse across the northeast in these elections. The Citizenship Amendment Bill is a sensitive issue in this state.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bihar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Gaya<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jitan Ram Majhi (HAM)<\/li>\n<li>Vijay Kumar (JDU)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Seat: Jamui (SC)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chirag Kumar Paswan (LJSP)<\/li>\n<li>Upendra Ravidas (BSP)<\/li>\n<li>Bhudeo Choudhary (RLSP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jamui is a Paswan family stronghold, and Chirag Paswan, son of LJSP leader Ram Vilas Paswan, should have it easy here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jammu &amp; Kashmir<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Baramulla<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mohammad Akbar Lone (NC)<\/li>\n<li>Abdul Qayoom Wani (PDP)<\/li>\n<li>Jahangir Khan (NPP)<\/li>\n<li>Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Engineer Rashid (Independent)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Baramulla seat was held by Muzzafar Husain Baig (PDP). This time it will be a fight between Abdul Qayoom Wani (PDP) and Mohammad Lone (NC).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Jammu<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jugal Kishore (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Raman Bhalla (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Prof Bhim Singh (NPP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Maharashtra<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Nagpur<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nitin Gadkari (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Nana Patole (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Mohammad Jamal (BSP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This fight is expected to be a one-sided contest in favour of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Chandrapur<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ahir Hansraj (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Balubhau alias S N Dhanorkar (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Sushil Segoji Wasnik (BSP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Meghalaya<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Tura<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agatha K Sangma (NPP)<\/li>\n<li>Dr Mukul Sangma (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Rikman Garrey Momin (BJP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expect Agatha Sangma, sister of NPP leader Conrad Sangma, to walk away with an easy win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Telangana<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Nizamabad<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kalvakuntla Kavitha (TRS)<\/li>\n<li>Arvind Dharmapuri (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Madhu Goud Yaskhi (INC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao\u2019s daughter Kavitha should win this seat easily as TRS has a strong hold over most parts of Telangana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Secunderabad<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TSK Yadav (TRS)<\/li>\n<li>Anjan Kumar Yadav (INC)<\/li>\n<li>G Kishan Reddy (BJP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Seat: Hyderabad<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM)<\/li>\n<li>Pusthe Srikanth (TRS)<\/li>\n<li>Dr Bhagavanth Rao (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Mohammed Firoze Khan (INC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>AIMIM Chief Asaddudin Owaisi is expected to retain the seat. The TRS has put up a weak candidate against him for a token fight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Khammam<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Renuka Chowdhury (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Nama Nageswr Rao (TRS)<\/li>\n<li>Devaki Vasudeva Rao (BJP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Former Union Minister Renuka Chaudhury (INC) hopes for the win here, but Nama Nageswr Rao (TRS) is not going to let go the seat so easily.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uttar Pradesh<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Muzzafarnagar<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ajit Singh (RLD)<\/li>\n<li>Sanjeev Balyan (BJP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a big fight. Ajit Singh\u2019s political career is at stake as he hopes to make a comeback in this Jat stronghold region, however, sitting MP Sanjeev Balyan (BJP) is expected to put up a strong show and may well win this seat again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Meerut<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Haji Mohammad Yaqoob (BSP)<\/li>\n<li>Rajendra Agarwal (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Harendra Agarwal (INC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Seat: Baghpat<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jayant Chaudhary (RLD)<\/li>\n<li>Dr Satyapal Singh (BJP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Seat: Ghaziabad<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>VK Singh (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Dolly Sharma (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Suresh Bansal (SP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Former Army Chief and Minister of State for External Affairs Gen VK Singh was a new entrant to politics in 2014. In 2019, he faces a tough challenge from both Suresh Bansal (SP) and Dolly Sharma (INC).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Gautam Buddha Nagar<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dr Mahesh Sharma (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Dr Arvind Kumar Singh (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Satveer (BSP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This seat has been a stronghold of the Union Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge) Dr Mahesh Sharma who has nurtured this constituency for a long time. Expect him to win again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uttarakhand<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Garhwal<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manish Khanduri (INC)<\/li>\n<li>Tirath Singh Rawat (BJP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Former Uttarakhand CM Gen Khanduri\u2019s son, Manish Khanduri \u00a0(INC) hopes to win here, but Tirath Singh Rawat (BJP) is expected to put up a stiff fight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seat: Nainital-Udhamsingh Nagar<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ajay Bhatt (BJP)<\/li>\n<li>Harish Rawat (INC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The five-time MP, former CM, and former Union Minister, Harish Rawat (INC), hopes for a sixth win this year.
