Azim Hashim Premji is the chairman of Wipro Limited, an Indian MNC that provides a wide array of services including IT, Consulting, and BPO services. He dropped out of Stanford to lead the company, diversify it, and put in the growth trajectory for over four decades, to make Wipro a software giant. Azim Premji is not only the second richest person in India (US$21.5 billion net worth) but also a renowned philanthropist who pledged to give away at least 50% of his wealth. TIME Magazine has listed him twice (in 2004 and 2011) among the 100 most influential people in the world.<\/p>\n

Sundar Pichai is the current Google CEO since August 10, 2015. He\u2019s an IIT Kharagpur graduate, who went on to complete his MBA at Wharton University (where he was awarded Siebel Scholar and Palmer Scholar titles). He has been instrumental in the development and launch of some of the most used and profitable products of Google including Google Chrome Web browser, Google Maps, Google Drive, and Android.<\/p>\n

Shantanu Narayen is the Chairman and CEO of Adobe Systems since 2005. Narayen is an Indian American who hails from Hyderabad (Telangana). He graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University College of Engineering, Osmania University, India and later pursued Master’s in Computer Science and MBA. He led Adobe to make it a Fortune 500 Company by 2018.<\/p>\n

Satya Nadella is the Microsoft CEO since February 4, 2014. He graduated in Engineering and pursued Master’s in Computer Science. He is also an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Nadella started his career at Sun Microsystems as a technology staff member and joined Microsoft in 1992. Under his leadership, Microsoft made some high-profile acquisitions and the company\u2019s stock has also grown three times.<\/p>\n

Natarajan Chandrasekaran is the first non-Parsi, professional executive to lead the Tata Group. He is not only the Chairman of Tata Sons but also the CEO of IT MNC Tata Consultancy Services. Chandrasekaran is also the Chairman of Tata Motors as well as Tata Global Beverages (TGB). In 2014, he became the CNN- IBN Indian of the Year in the business category and also Business Today\u2019s the Best CEO for 2014. He ranked 10th in the India Today magazine\u2019s 50 Most Powerful People of 2017 list.<\/p>\n

6. Indra Nooyi<\/h2>\n

Indra Nooyi<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Indra Nooyi shot to prominence in 2001 when she became the CEO of PepsiCo, and went on to become its President and CEO in 2006. During her 12-year stint as CEO, its sales increased by 80%. While she ranked consistently among Forbes magazine\u2019s \u201cThe World’s 100 Most Powerful Women\u201d from 2008 to 2017, Fortune magazine ranked her No. 1 in the list of \u201cMost Powerful Women in business\u201d from 2006 to 2010. Indra Nooyi is currently one of the directors on the board of Amazon.<\/p>\n

7. Laxman Narasimhan<\/h2>\n

Laxman Narasimhan is the chief commercial officer of PepsiCo and is all set to start his stint as CEO of Reckitt Benckiser in September 2019. He is an engineering graduate, Master’s in German and International Studies, and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. Laxman Narasimhan worked for nineteen years at McKinsey until 2012, before joining PepsiCo.<\/p>\n

Rajeev Suri was the CEO of Nokia Siemens Networks since 2009, and is currently the CEO of Nokia Corporation, a Finland-based telecommunications company with revenue of around US$ 26 Billion, and operations in more than 130 countries. He was born in New Delhi in India, and earned Bachelor’s of Engineering (Electronics and Communications) degree from Manipal Institute of Technology. He joined Nokia in 1995, and has held various positions in the company around the globe before being appointed in his current role. After the sale of Nokia phone brand to Microsoft, he has changed the focus of the company now exclusively on telecom infrastructure and IoT technologies, such as 3G and 5G.<\/p>\n

Binny Bansal is a well-known name in the Indian ecommerce space, as he cofounded Flipkart with Sachin Bansal. This IIT Delhi graduate along with Sachin Bansal made it to the Forbes India Rich List in Sept\u201915 with the net worth of $1.3 billion and 86th rank. In 2017, he held the 26th rank in India Today\u2019s 50 Most powerful people in India. After his resignation from Flipkart, he\u2019s an angel investor who has made investments in around 30 online platforms and startups.<\/p>\n

She is credited with keeping up the momentum of the company even when the Indian banking system is grappling with the three problems of bad loans, corporate governance, and frauds.
