Like in other fields, people of Indian origin are increasingly making their mark in the global business world too. Recently, CEOWORLD magazine published its global ranking of the best chief executives across all industries for 2019. Walmart CEO Douglas McMillon was declared as the world number one CEO by the magazine for 2019. Born in 1966, McMillon completed his MBA in Finance from the University of Tulsa. Royal Dutch Shell’s global chief executive Ben van Beurden is the number two CEO in the world. Born in 1958, he is a chemical engineer, associated with Shell since1983.<\/p>\n

Not surprisingly, the list of 121 CEOs contains many Indian names too.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rajesh Exports Executive Chairman Rajesh Mehta was born in 1964. He started his business in the name of Rajesh Exports in 1989. Mehta is ranked 99 among the top CEOs in the world declared by the CEOWORLD magazine in 2019. Interestingly, he outshone Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, who is down below at the 101 spot.<\/p>\n

Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) Chairman and Managing Director D Rajkumar, educated from IIT Chennai and IIM Bengaluru, occupies 94th spot among the top CEOs in the world, as revealed by the CEOWORLD magazine.<\/p>\n

Guenter Butschek, the Tata Motors CEO and Managing Director, was born in 1960. Guenter Butschek is ranked 89 in the top CEOs in the world in 2019. He was selected in 2016 after a global search spanning almost 2 years, and brings with him experience in companies such as Airbus and Daimler.<\/p>\n

RIL is a Fortune 500 company as well as India’s most valuable company due to its market value. Forbes magazine declares him the richest man in Asia and ranks him 13th richest in the world. CEOWORLD magazine ranked Ambani 49 among the leading CEOs of the world in 2019.<\/p>\n
