Dwarka Assembly Constituency (created in 2008 as per the Delimitation Commission of India\u2019s recommendations) is part of the West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency.<\/p>\n

Vinay Kumar Mishra (Aam Aadmi Party or AAP) has filed nomination from the Dwarka assembly seat in the 2020 Delhi Assembly Constituency Election. The other contenders of this assembly constituency are Parduymn Rajput (Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP), Adarsh Shastri (Indian National Congress or INC), Ashok (Bahujan Samaj Party or BSP), and Gautam Singh Bihari (Independent candidate).<\/p>\n

It is going to be a 3-cornered contest between AAP\u2019s Vinay Kumar Mishra (former Congress MLA Mahabal Mishra\u2019s son and Purvanchali face), INC\u2019s Adarsh Shastri (incumbent MLA and former AAP activist), and political veteran of BJP Pradyumna Rajput (two-time MLA from the constituency: first in 2009 assembly by-election and then in 2013 assembly election). In 2020, the incumbent MLA Adarsh Shastri is contesting on an INC ticket.<\/p>\n
