In India, maize forms one of the staple diet and it is called <em>bhutta<\/em> specifically in the north. I have loved <em>bhutta<\/em> in almost all its forms, whether it is roasted or is in a form of boiled sweet corns. Today I give you another delicious preparation of corn which I call &#8216;Bhutta Tangri Kebab&#8217;. This totally vegetarian dish is very inviting and an awesome innovation. This is a perfect recipe for starters or an evening party. The baby corns are covered with some\u00a0<em>masala<\/em> made with boiled potatoes and <em>paneer<\/em> and shaped to look like a <em>tangri kebab<\/em> and then deep fried. It results in an amazing irresistible starter dish which is sure to win you many accolades. Use this recipe for making Bhutta Tangri Kebab at home and impress your guests.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Bhutta Tangri Kebab<\/h2>\n<p>Baby corns &#8211; 5-6<\/p>\n<p>Boiled potatoes &#8211; 4<\/p>\n<p>Paneer &#8211; 150 gm<\/p>\n<p>Zeera powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Red chili powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Chaat masala &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Garam masala &#8211; 1\/4 tsp<\/p>\n<p>Bread slice &#8211; 2\/3<\/p>\n<p>Salt to taste<\/p>\n<p>Oil for frying<\/p>\n<h2>How to make Bhutta Tangri Kebab<\/h2>\n<p>Grate the <em>paneer<\/em>, break the bread slices into small pieces and mix with boiled potatoes.<\/p>\n<p>Mix the dry <em>masala<\/em> and form into rolls.<\/p>\n<p>Insert baby corn into each of the rolls.<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in a pan.<\/p>\n<p>When the oil is hot, put the rolls and deep fry till golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>Serve immediately with green coriander and mint chutney or tomato ketchup with some cut onions and tomatoes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corn or maize is produced and relished all over the world in various forms.
