Talking about Rajasthani cuisines, they have a unique delectable taste that make you keep longing for more and more. <em>Gatte ki sabzi<\/em> is one dish from the royal state of Rajasthan, that is been prepared at my home since I was a child and that I always love to relish. However, today I made something slightly different out of the usual <em>Gatte ki Sabzi<\/em> with <em>dahi<\/em> (curd) and called it <em>Dahi Ke Gatte<\/em>. The taste was as expected &#8211; just irresistible and it went well with plain home made hot chapatis. I am very sure you too would fall in love with this great curry from Rajasthan, so use this simple recipe to make Dahi Ke Gatte.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients needed for\u00a0Dahi Ke Gatte<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Besan &#8211; 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Oil &#8211; 4 tbsp + 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Soda &#8211; a pinch<\/li>\n<li>Onion &#8211; 1 \u00a0(chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Coriander powder &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Red chili powder &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n<li>Curd &#8211; 1 cup (whisked)<\/li>\n<li>Fresh coriander for garnishing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make Dahi Ke Gatte<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Mix besan with 4 tbsp oil with your finger tips.<\/li>\n<li>Add little water and knead to form a dough.<\/li>\n<li>Roll and make 4-5 thin cylinders.<\/li>\n<li>Heat water in a pan.<\/li>\n<li>When it comes to boil, add besan cylinders.<\/li>\n<li>Cover it and cook for 10-12 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from water and cut into small pieces (called <em>gatte<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>Heat 1 tbsp oil in \u00a0a pan.<\/li>\n<li>Add onion and fry for a minute.<\/li>\n<li>Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Fry for 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the prepared <em>gatte<\/em> and a little water.
