The Palghat Parliamentary Constituency is in the Indian state of Kerala in the south of the country. Palghat town is in the district of Palakkad and is situated near the Palghat Gap. The Palghat Parliamentary Constituency is also the administrative headquarters of the district.

Palghat town has a population of 130,736 residents according to the 2001 census. The population comprises 49 percent males and 51 percent females. N N Krishnadas of the CPM party has won from here since 1996.
