Kim Sharma Biography

A popular face of Bolywood Kim Sharma was born on 21st January 1980 in Ahmednagar,Maharashtra. She received her primary education from a boarding school of Panchgani. Kim Sharma entered the world of entertainment and glamor through modeling. While she was on a trip to Mumbai,she was selected for the commercial of Close-up toothpaste through an audition. This ad campaign was followed by Sunsilk, Pepsi, Tata Safari, Ponds, Fair & Lovely, Clean-n-Clear and Lyril. She was also featured in the music videos of Lata Mangeshkar’s ‘Paayoji’ and Ali Haider’s ‘Purani Jeans’.

Kim Sharma got a break in Bollywood through Aditya Chopra’s Mohabbatein which was a multi starrer film. Alongwith her five other newcomers Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Jimmy Shergill, Shamita Shetty and Preeti Jhangiani were given a chance in the film. It also starred superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. The film was a blockbuster and set her career rolling in Bollywood. In her next film Kehta Hai Dil Baar Baar she starred opposite Jimmy Shergill and played the role of a daughter of a rich businessman. But the film turned out to be a flop.

Kim Sharma acted in Bollywood films like Nehle Pe Dehla, Yakeen, Taj Mahal, Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana but none of the films has performed well at the box office. Her another film Tom Dick and Harry was a comedy of errors and revolved around three silly characters .
