Prabhu Ganesan is an Indian film actor, businessman and producer in the Tamil and Telugu film industry. He is veteran Sivaji Ganesan’s son and his son Vikram Prabhu is also an actor in the Tamil film industry. He received the Best Actor award from the Tamil Nadu state for his portrayal in Chinna Thambi (1992).<\/p>\n

Prabhu was born in Chennai to actor Sivaji Ganesan and Kamala. He has three siblings, two sisters and an elder brother Ramkumar, who is a film producer. He married Punitha and the couple has two children, Vikram and Aishwarya. He was also in a live-in relationship with actress Khushboo and eventually married on 12 September, 1993. However, they split up after four months of their marriage.<\/p>\n
Prabhu started his career as an executive producer and worked under his uncle as well as mentor V. C. Shanmugam. He made his acting debut in a remake of Hindi film Kaalicharan. Eventually he worked on many films but he attained his commercial success through romantic film Kozhi Koovuthu. His career experienced low but he came back with hits like Aruvadai Naal and Paalaivana Rojakkal.<\/p>\n
