Mouma Das was born on 24th February, 1984 in West Bengal. She started playing table tennis on a full-fledged basis from the year 1993. Currently he is the No. 2 player of India. Father Asit Kumar Das is said to have made a major contribution towards honing the table tennis skills of Mouma Das.<\/p>\n
He is getting training under Shri Jayanta kumar Pushilal. A senior level table tennis player, she had made a mark for herself in the junior levels too. One of the greatest achievements of Mouma was the bronze medal she bagged in the 2001 Commonwealth Games, held in New Delhi.<\/p>\n
He took part in the Women’s Doubles National Championship two times and also participated in the National Senior Championship of 1999. She also participated in the Senior Asian Championship. He became National champion three times in sub-junior level, National champion in 2001 and National champion in Cadet. He was also the runner-up in junior championship for three times.<\/p>\n
