Leh: The Roof of the World
Location of Leh
Leh, one of India's most sought after travel destinations can be found nestled in a side valley, just north of the Indus. Leh has an abundance of scenic beauty; a stunning combination of desert and mountain landscape. Here you will find cosy restaurants and cafes that will help you enjoy the natural beauty of this rugged landscape. One of the most prominent fixtures in the town is the dilapidated nine storey Leh Palace that was home to the Ladaki royal family, before they were exiled to Stok in the 1830's.
