The master cricketer is also the youngest recipient of the Bharat Ratna award by the government of India. The only player to score more than 30,000 runs in all forms of international cricket, Tendulkar also holds the world record for playing the highest number of Test and ODI matches. Forbes ranked him as the 9th richest sportsman in the world for the year 2018, with total earnings of Rs. 80 crores during the same year. Tendulkar also became the first person without an aviation background to receive the honorary rank of Group Captain by the Indian Air Force.
