Situated 185 kms east of the Western seashore line and 83 kms from Ahmednagar, Shirdi is most famous for the late 19th century popular guru Shirdi Sai Baba who lived here. The main attraction of Shirdi is the Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir which is built out of white marble and is also known as the Sai Baba Temple. The temple is constructed beautifully with silver pillars and has an assembly hall which can accommodate 600 devotees at a time.
