Two Passenger Trains Derail in Madhya Pradesh, 27 Feared Dead
7:00 AM IST, 5 August, 2015 - At least 27 people died and 40 were injured as two passenger trains derailed within minutes of each other while crossing a bridge in Madhya Pradesh. The derailed trains were Kamayani Express running from Mumbai to Varanasi and Janata Express running from Mumbai to Jabalapur. According to a railway spokesperson, the track caved in due to rain and waterlogging which lead to derailment.
