NDFB Militants Kill 34 in Assam |

National Democratic Front of Boroland (Songbijit) (NDB(S)) militants have killed about 34 people including 10 women and 13 children in Kokrajhar and Sonitpur districts of Assam. As per media reports, the death toll is likely to rise as more people are suspected to have been killed in the attacks. According to media reports, NDFB (S) carried out the attacks in retaliation to the killing of their people by the security forces in last few weeks. Reportedly, in the wake of the attacks, Manas National Park which is inhabited by different tribes and is also a famous tourist spot has been closed for few days.
