Six Dead and 100 Injured in Ludhiana After Ammonia Gas Tanker Leaked


An ammonia gas tanker leaked in a district in Ludhiana and resulted in the death of six people also and caused injury to about 100. As per media reports, the tanker got struck under a flyover on the Doraha Bypass Road which is about 25 kms away from Ludhiana. Reportedly, the people died after inhaling the gas and rest complained of breathing problems due to inhaling ammonia. The tanker is believed to be going from Ludhiana and bears Gujarat’s registration number.
