Fire at Chatterjee International High Rise; Four Rescued

A fire broke out at the Chatterjee International building in Kolkata at 8.30 A.M. Chatterjee International is one of the tallest building in the state and reportedly the fire broke out at the 15th floor of the high-rise. According to some reports, it started on the 12th floor and spread to the other floors. However, clarity on this is expected to emerge in some time soon. As per reports, the fire department has rescued four people who were trapped in the building at the time of the incident. According to the fire department officials, there were not many people in the building as the incident happened much before the office hours. Several fire engines along with hydraulic ladders were rushed to the spot to control the fire. No casualty has been reported so far and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
