Well, there is mixed reaction among auto journalists regarding BMW GS 310 and its effectiveness for Indian road conditions. While some believe BMW GS 310 is spot on for touring across India, some believe it could have been better. I believe it is definitely a bike to reckon for touring in India.
Important features of this bike are 34 bhp @ 9500 rpm, dual channel ABS, upright ergonomic, 1800 mm suspension travel, 19-inch front wheel, 17 inch rear wheel, and premium equipment. However, it is a bit too expensive. It comes at an ex-showroom price (Delhi) of Rs. 3.49 lakhs and it doesn’t even have spoke wheels. If you are fine shelling out that price, BMW GS 310 is a good motorcycle for on-road touring across India.
