There are certain obsessions that most of the Delhites will be found guilty for when introspected. One of such stringent fascinations common to them is that of fashion and style. Delhites are known for their ultra-chic dressing sense and a good knowledge about couture. Their love for high-style fashion and luxury labels leaves them down-and-out most of the times. Until recent times, reaching out to the affluent luxury brands could have only meant travelling to the overseas. But not anymore! Getting the hands on some of the most opulent international brands got invariably easier after Delhi became the host to the country’s first most expensive luxury shopping.
Emporio, as it was entitled, was ordained in the year 2008 in the residential area of Vasant Kunj. India’s biggest real estate developer, DLF, undertook the project of arranging 70 international brands under one roof. After long talks regarding an equity joint venture, DLF managed to rope in the brands in partnership with the local retail partners. The mall spreads across an area of 3.5 lakh square feet and houses over 130 brands and designers. Architect Mohit Gujral designed the mall in the most ostentatious style reflecting retro Indian class.
What it offers
Dlf Emporio has brought together brands like Jimmy Choo, Paul Smith, Versace, Christian Dior, Tom Ford, Roberto Cavalli, Armani and several others. There is also a 180-seater luxurious restaurant called SET’Z with a bar and lounge. Seven international cuisines are offered at this high-end diner.
Dlf Emporio defines luxury in the most sumptuous way! It is regarded as the most resplendent mall of New Delhi.
