In the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings, various Indian institutes have secured notable positions. IIT-Bombay attained a ranking of 149, closely followed by IIT-Delhi at 197. The Indian Institute of Science claimed the 225th spot, while IIT-Kharagpur secured the 271st position and IIT-Kanpur secured the 278th position. IIT-Madras secured the 285th rank, whereas IIT-Guwahati stood at 364. Additionally, IIT-Roorkee claimed the 369th position, the University of Delhi secured the 407th spot, and Anna University secured the 427th spot, all within the top 500 rankings.
