She suggests him to live a life of respect through self-employment by using his tailoring skills. The couple together sets out on a mission to establish an embroidery business. The crux of the movie lies in Mauji’s hard work, his entrepreneurship and the support which exists between the couple.

Movie Review: Sui Dhaga is a movie which depicts the journey of an honest man who rises from humble beginnings and becomes a celebrated entrepreneur. It is a heartwarming story of perseverance, self-reliance, pride and the talent of artisans. Sharat Katariya has successfully depicted the daily problems of an average man who is fine with everything in his life. Varun has imbibed the traits of his character and has emerged out beautifully in the movie. Anushka has flawlessly portrayed the character of Mamta without being glamorous carrying simple sarees and less makeup. The supporting cast including Raghuvir Yadav and Govind Pandey have delivered brilliant performances in the movie. The dialogues in the movie are realistic as the language used is common which we frequently encounter in our daily life. The first half of the movie may appear sluggish but the second half turns out to be interesting. Anushka and Varun have given one of the finest performances of their careers in Sui Dhaga.

Our verdict: Sui Dhaga is a movie which has been stitched with colourful threads of entertainment, dialogue, thrills, and dramatic moments. It is a smooth going movie and the cast has delivered stellar performances. The movie is endearing and worth a watch.
