I just can not believe that I have already lost 4.5 kilograms of my body weight in 21 days, since the start of this expedition. This is a matter of concern for me as I did not have much of a fat on my body from before. I have to look after my diet from now onward, the thing which I was neglecting all this while. I love my tan that beholds many experiences and stories in itself. Whenever I stop by for food or check my GPS, people in Maharashtra are very curious to know about my journey & about me. I am loving the motivation that they give me.
I reached a town where I had a hard time searching for cheap accommodation. Then I rode 3 kilometers inside from the highway to Khed town where I found one cheap lodge, after inquiring at many lodges and hotels, where I could stay for the night. People laugh hearing the budget of my accommodation but I always end up finding one, which may take some time, even when people try to misguide me saying that you will not get a room in that price. This town, Khed, also has nothing of tourist interest. Its just that I can roam around and see the market which is almost same everywhere in Maharashtra. Markets shows the heart of a city.
I always go for street food where I get enough time to talk to local people and get to know about the place. I never knew many of the “pav” related delicacies before and now, I am having it all my day. That is the best part of what I am doing.
I rode for 102.5 kilometers today and reached Khed in 7 hours 30 minutes after crossing few hills today also. I have come to know that tomorrow I will have to go through 12 kilometers of up slope. I am hoping to reach Mumbai on Monday, on the day of Holi festival.
