Found and nurtured under the vivid imagination of a great man, the city of Jamshedpur belongs to an inordinate individual called Jamshetji Nusserwanji Tata. The same man, who changed the fortune of a small village into a big township, also blessed the city with a stupendously beautiful park called the Jubilee Park. Gifted by the Tata Group on the Golden Jubilee of the establishment of the city in 1958, the Jubilee Park is also known as the Mughal Garden of Jamshedpur.

Sprawling across an area of 225 acres, it is one of the major attractions for tourists all across the country. The park has been aesthetically adorned with lush green gardens, flower beds and illuminated fountains to make it look lavishly attractive. A recreational centre for children, with a number of joyful rides, was built inside the park to keep them entertained. Bright twinkling lights illuminate the park every Tuesday and Sunday giving an exceptionally radiant look to the entire area.

The Jubilee Park is a unique gift from the man popularly known as the “Father of Indian Industry”. The Park dons a heavenly look on the birth anniversary of Jamshetji Tata celebrated on the 3rd of March. The celestial beauty of the park makes it a definite visit in the city of Jamshedpur.
