Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam, also called SPB or Balu, turned into an Indian playback singer, tv presenter, track director, actor, and film producer who worked predominantly in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam films. His mama was Sakunthalamma, who died on February 4 2019. He had brothers and five sisters, together with singer S. P. Sailaja. His son S. P. Charan is a famous South Indian singer, actor, and manufacturer.
Balasubrahmanyam developed an interest in music early, studied musical notations, and learned songs. He registered at the JNTU College of Engineering Anantapur to become an engineer. He quit his studies early due to typhoid and joined as a partner member of the group of Engineers, Chennai.
