Shimla, once the summer capital of India has gained importance as a tourist destination. This is the capital of Himachal Pradesh., and is popularly known as 'the Queen of Hills'. The name 'Shimla' originates from Goddess Shyamala Devi (incarnation of Goddess Kali).
