More Rainfall in Madhya Pradesh in Next 24 Hours, Predicts IMD

As per the reports, 22 people died, many are missing, more than 7,000 people have been rescued in the Madhya Pradesh flood. Some of the most affected districts are Rewa, Raisen, Mandla, Seoni, Sehore, Sagar, Damoh, Tikamgarh, and Agar-Malwa. The rescued people are living in camps. Around 15,819 affected people are living in 68 camps. Out of these, 6,710 are staying in 14 shelter homes in Bhopal, 2,000 are in 18 camps in Harda, 2,000 in 8 camps in Sehore, 14,000 in Seven camps in Vidisha, and 1,265 in shelter homes in Satna. The rest of the people are in other districts of the state.


More than 2,360 houses have been completely damaged by the flood, while 17,236 houses are partially damaged.

As per the reports of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Bhopal Centre, 34 districts have witnessed more than average rainfalls this year, while 11 districts have registered normal rains. Five out the remaining six districts have seen less rain, and only one district has seen poor rains.

As per latest IMD predictions, rain and thunder shower is likely to occur in the state in the next twenty-four hours. The reports have also mentioned that heavy to quite heavy rainfall may occur at districts like Ratlam, Neemuch, Guna, Ratlam, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Shajapur, Sehore, Rajgarh and Agar-malwah.
