Homemade Summer Face Packs

Summers are upon us and it’s high time we do something before tanning gets to us. To obtain glowing skin, we need to make some efforts. However, this all is surprisingly easy if you invest some time in face packs. Read on to know how to make these packs.

1. Turmeric and Besan Face Pack

When the skin brightening properties of turmeric are combined with the exfoliating properties of Besan, nothing can stop you from having a super-glowing face down the road.

Required Stuff:

  • ½ tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp besan
  • 1 tbsp rose water

Steps to Follow:

  • Prepare a thick paste by mixing all the materials.
  • Thoroughly apply to your neck and face.
  • Let it stay on for 15 minutes or so and then wash it off with cold water.

2. Honey and Lemon Face Pack

While antioxidant-loaded honey works its way to keep your skin glowing, lemon makes sure your face gets rid of all the dead skin. What more do you need?

Required Stuff: 

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp organic honey

Steps to Follow:

  • Mix thoroughly the lemon juice and honey.
  • Leaving just the skin around your eyes, apply it all over your face.
  • Let it sit for something around 20 minutes and then wash off.

3. Aloe Vera, Honey, and Lemon Face Pack

Want to tighten those stubborn face pores and tone your skin#? Then invest in this aloe vera and lemon face packs. One more benefit of this one is that it can even fade your acne scars and acne.

Required Stuff:

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp aloe vera pulp
  • 1 tbsp honey

Steps to Follow:

  • Take the aloe vera pulp and blend it with other stuff.
  • Avoiding the eye area, apply it all over your face.
  • Wash it off after 15 minutes.

4. Lavender Oil Face Pack

This face pack is particularly effective in reducing dark circles. Moreover, it works for all skin types. Lavender oil soothes your sunburn while avocado helps in collagen formation. As a result, you’ll be blessed with very happy skin.

Required Stuff:

  • 3-4 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 1 tbsp mashed avocado

Steps to Follow:

  • Take a bowl and mix avocado with oil.
  • Apply on your face and let it stay there for at least 15 minutes so that the facial skin can soak it all in.
  • Wash off with lukewarm water.

5. Tomato and Multani Mitti Face Pack

Multani mitti works wonder for your facial pores and also helps in cleaning away dirt and oil from your face. This is a wonderful face pack which naturally helps in lightening the skin tone.

Required Stuff:

  • 1 tsp tomato juice
  • 2 tsp multani mitti
  • ½ tsp sandalwood powder

Steps to Follow:

  • Take a bowl and mix tomato juice, sandalwood powder, and multani mitti.
  • Just add a pinch of turmeric on it as well. However, it is optional.
  • Thoroughly apply it on your face and when it dries, wash it off.
