The International Cricket Council has revealed the schedule for the 8th Men’s T20 World Cup in 2022. For all the cricket fans who have been yearning for the T20 World Cup, this is fantastic news. Australia will be hosting the T20 World Cup this year. Australia won the T20 World Cup 2021 over New Zealand, earning the right to host the event in 2022. It should be remembered that the T20 World Cup will include 16 teams in total. Two groups of eight teams each will be formed from the 16 total teams.
Even though there is 16 matches total, the bulk of spectators is crazed to see India vs. Pakistan T20 World Cup game slated on October 23, 2022. Cricket fans from all around the world are eager to see the 8th T20 World Cup in 2022.
Schedule of the T20 World Cup:
Schedule-wise, the T20 world cup will start on October 16, 2022. On October 16, the opening match of the competition is planned. It will take place in Victoria at Geelong Cricket Stadium. Namibia and Sri Lanka will square off in the opening game of the competition. The last game will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 13, 2022.
