This movement in the US led to the creation of Earth Day, which is today celebrated across the world and is now recognised as one of the most significant events on the planet.

The first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970 to raise awareness as well as launch a wave of action. Governments of different countries started taking action to save nature. The clean air and water, and the safety of endangered species act were made in the wake of first Earth Day in 1970. Many countries came forward to pledge actions against pollution and urged the authorities to make the atmosphere clean. Stress on the green environment has come into vogue. Many laws were made regarding the environment. Hunting and cutting of forests were banned in many countries after that.

Experts are stressing on cleanliness and hygienic condition to prevent the novel coronavirus. Therefore, climate change represents an enormous challenge for the world. It gives a lesson that we should not overuse the natural resources or damage the natural habitat of wildlife. The safety of our endangered species is essential from their extinction; otherwise, we should be ready to face the devastating consequences of nature.
