Amazon and Flipkart, the two largest Indian e-commerce companies, have decided to offer significant Diwali discounts. This year’s Amazon’s Great Indian Festival and Flipkart’s Big Billion Days will begin on September 23. Amazon will also provide Prime Members 24 hours of priority access before the sale opens to the public on September 23.
Flipkart’s sale runs till September 30, and the firm has unveiled many offers for smartphones like Nothing Phone 1 and Google pixel 6a. Noor Patel, vice president of Amazon India, informed PTI, “We will have 11 lakh sellers that will participate in the sale of which 2 lakh are local stores. We will be delivering to customers across all serviceable pin codes. The big change this year is that it will be coming on the back of two years of the pandemic. We are returning to things as usual.”
Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy stated, “TBBD also illustrates our commitment towards providing access to quality and affordability to the customers and boosting the economy through our operations in a sustainable manner while creating jobs and livelihood opportunities across the country.”
Great Indian Festival on Amazon
