1. Mahatma: Life of Gandhi (1968)

This documentary, based on the life of Gandhi, was released in the year 1968. Directed and scripted by Vithalbhai Jhaveri, the film was produced by the Gandhi National Memorial Fund in cooperation with the Films Division of the Government of India. This black and white documentary includes the minute details of Gandhi’s life. Animation, live photography, and some old stills are used to serve the purpose. It has been released in Hindi and English versions respectively.
