What is UNO?

UNO is a card game. The cards are shuffled and played with multiple players. The winning person has to finish off the game with the last card. The fun of UNO is having to shout “UNO” when you are down to your final card.

UNO is a popular game that originated in America. The recommended age range for UNO is seven and above, but younger children can still have fun. Even the practice of numbers and colors from the game can benefit everyone.

How To Play UNO?

  1. Shuffle all 108 cards in a deck of Uno cards you have on hand.
  2. Make sure that everyone who wants to play receives seven cards after that.
  3. Order the players to maintain their cards’ face-down positions.
  4. Keep the deck of cards in a stack face down. These cards will form the draw pile from which players will draw cards as they play. Keep it facing up and set the top card of the draw pile next to the draw pile. The discard pile will be created when you use this card to begin the game.
  5. If a player’s card from their hand matches the color, number, word, or symbol on the card lying face up in the center of the table, they should place it on the table to the dealer’s left. Specify that they put their card on top of the discard stack.
  6. The next player then searches through their hand for a card they can use to play.
  7. Take a card from the draw pile to add to your hand if you have no cards that match the color, number, or symbol on the top card when it is your turn to play. If this card shares a trait with a card already on the table, you can play it immediately.
  8. In addition to the standard Uno cards with numbers on them, there are three different kinds of action cards.
  9. The color for the subsequent play is your choice if you play a Wild card. The player to your left must take two cards; their turn is skipped if you place a Draw 2 card on the table.
  10. The person who took the first turn will get another chance to take their turn if you choose to play Reverse, which reverses the flow of play.
  11. Continue trading turns until only one player is left with a hand of one card. The player must then say “Uno” or risk being called out by another player, which will result in a penalty.
  12. When you have one card left, wait until the game passes around the table and comes back to you. The round will be decided by who can play their final card before eliminating everyone else.
  13. When the game is played multiple times, the scores are given. Then the total score is considered, and the winner has more points.

UNO is an easy way to spend time with your family, friends and even meet up strangers. It allows you to gain quality time and have fun with people. The cards are available online and in stores across India.
