Big Boss ‘Double Trouble’ – Season 9 starts with a bang!

Bigg Boss Season 9 Double Trouble

Bigg Boss Season 9 Double Trouble Big Boss ‘Double Trouble’ Season 9 is on air and guess what, amchi Salman bhai is back too and looking ekdum jhakaas! As always, Colors has been getting it right with all their Big Boss themes and each year they are striking it rich with rising TRPs. After last season’s Air Crash Jumbo set, people were expecting another thematic surprise but trust Big Boss to come out with something that no one expected – Double Trouble! And how! As it is, spending 105 days inside Big Boss is stressful enough coping with all the madness, the gossip, the fights, the cribs, the bitching and most of all the outlandish (who can forget Imam Siddique !!) and when you top that with being saddled as a pair for the remaining time in Big Boss it is enough to drive the best of us up the walls! And that’s exactly how dear Big Boss has planned. Double Trouble is becoming a jodi and doing everything as a jodi, even getting nominated! One is not just ‘paired’; one is actually tied up to one’s partner! Now that’s not too bad if you are Romeo and Juliet but that isn’t the case here. You don’t get to choose your partner and it won’t necessarily be of the opposite sex. Now the malicious me can’t stop imagining, what if Big Boss had planned a show with all previous inmates of Big Boss and got them to pair. That would have made a classic show. Imagine a Double Trouble pair of Dolly Bindra and Armaan Kohli? Now that would have been more than just ‘Double’ trouble!! Coming back to Season 9, Double Trouble got started off with pairing on Day 1 and before the end of Day 1 we already have three ‘nomination’ pairs. Oh by the way, let me recap the inmates and the jodis just in case you have missed out the early episodes.

The 7 inmate pairs are:

• Mandana Karimi – Keith Sequiera

• Suyyash Rai – Rimi Sen

• Aman Verma – Kishwer Merchantt

• Roopal Tyagi – Digangana Suryavanshi

• Prince Narula – Rochelle Maria Rao

• Ankit Gera – Arvind Vegda

• Vikas Bhalla – Yuvika Chaudhary Daggers are beginning to come out.

Kishwer can’t stand Mandana, all with her firang accent, and Mandana seems to generously return the feelings. Mandana has already begun to stake her claim as the latest drama queen and her tantrums are already beginning to get on everybody’s nerves. Which means, we can all expect more masala with dollops of spice in the coming episodes.

At the end of Day 5, the nominated pairs are:

• Ankit Gera – Arvind Vegda

• Roopal Tyagi – Digangana Suryavanshi

• Vikas Bhalla – Yuvika Chaudhary

• Suyyash Rai – Rimi Sen But wait……we have had an exchange of pairs! Rimi Sen is now paired with Rochelle Maria Rao; Suyyash Rai has chosen to go with Prince Narula. All other pairings remain. Of course Aman and Kishwer were wanting to opt out of the jodi but Big Boss turned down their request as they were kind of shaping up well in the tasks. So they remain stuck. So, are the new pairings going to work for the new jodis and will the existing ones manage to hold peace? We’ll have to wait till next week. But wait… the weekend is here and so is Salman bhai with his ‘thoughts’ of the week! Walking down the Big Boss memory lane……
