Uninterrupted moments of laughter are brought by the family of crazy members but a very talented cast consisting of the man himself as Bittu (Kapil Sharma), the interfering Dolly daddi (Ali Asgar), the stylish Mrs Manju Sharma (Sumona Chakravarti), the unmarried Pinky bua (Upasana Singh), male in female Palak (Kiku Shadra), Chadda uncle (Chandan Prabhakar), with Paresh Ganatra, Roshni Chopra, Naveen Bawa, Akshat Singh and Atul Parchure coming off and on as guest appearance. Cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu plays the role of Kapil’s friend who enjoys light banters at Kapil’s house from a distance. Also the sher-o-shayri by Navjot Singh Sidhu gives some break from the dose of laughter.

Kapil Sharma, a standup comedian who is also a producer of the show runs it with full energy and his witty sense of humour. Punch lines of the show and efforts put by the entire team has made the show a great success and helped Kapil in winning the title ‘King of Comedy’.

Comedy Nights with Kapil has amplified the level of entertainment and presents the life of a common man and his problems in a very light way. In the show Kapil interacts with a live set of audience and even invites few of them to show their talent. In first part of the show audience enjoys household banters by Kapil and his family whereas in the second half very live, funny and interactive session with celebrity guests is presented. Celebrities come to the show to promote their movie and some come as special appearance. Such a concept of inviting celebrities is not new to the television world. But Comedy Nights with Kapil keeps it very engaging and interesting to accomplish the purpose of entertaining everybody. Many big names have visited his show like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.

Kapil Sharma has won four back to back trophies at Comedy Circus. He and his show are the recipients of the ITA Awards 2013 as the Best Comedy Actor and Serial respectively whereas Ali Sagar has won Best Actor in Supporting Role. Kapil Sharma was declared the Entertainer of the Year by CNN-IBN Indian of the Year. Apart from this, serial has also won BIG Star Entertainment Awards 2013 and Star Guild Awards 2014.

Started on June 22, 2013 Comedy Nights with Kapil is going off air in September and taking a break. The show will be back with more fun and entertainment.
