IPL 2025: List Of Players’ Auction Price, All Squads And Final Teams

The auction concluded on November 25th, 2024, and now the ten franchises are ready for an epic battle that is set to begin in March 2025.

The city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia has become a hotspot among Indians. This is not because of any tourist attraction but because the town witnessed the mega auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, which was held on November 24 and 25, 2024.
Before the auction, specific changes were made to the event regulations. Each franchise was given a total of 120 crore in the auction purse.

This means that teams had to complete the auction in this amount only. In addition, the players’ total salary cap has also increased substantially due to the introduction of match fees. This salary cap will increase in the coming years as well. Each player will not be given Rs. 7.5 lakh as match fees per match has been introduced as a form of appreciation for the players.

The event happened overseas for the second year in a row. Last year, the auction happened in Dubai. This year was the mega auction, and certain events made this notable. The mega auction witnessed 577 players made part of different franchises. There were 10 franchises, and they collectively spent more than Rs. 600 crore for the purchase.

The entire auction was viewed live by the audience on the Star Sports channel and JioCinema app. The auction concluded on November 25th, 2024, and now the ten franchises are ready for an epic battle that is set to begin in March 2025.
