Collection figures for the film look good, since Tuesdau was Christmas, a public holiday and with no films releasing this coming Friday and in the New Year holiday season, movie goers have a little choice when it comes to movie watching.
Dabangg 2 is the sequel of the very popular Dabangg which was released in 2010. Dabangg 2 is directed by Arbaaz Khan (Salman Khan’s brother) and is set in the city of Kanpur and is the story of Chulblu Pandey (Salman Khan) a policeman in charge of a local police station. Sonakshi Sinha, who made her acting debut with Dabangg in 2010, plays Salman Khan’s wife Rajjo in Dabangg 2. Dabangg 2 is a light film with funny moments and is an all out entertainer.
This year has been lucky for Salman Khan, with his previous film Ek Tha Tiger grossing around Rs.95.80 crores at the box office and we hope his winning streak continues in 2013 as well.
