Haryana BJP leader and Bigg Boss fame and Tik-Tok star Sonali Phogat has passed away. She died on Monday night in Goa. With this news, there is a wave of mourning among her crores of fans. According to preliminary information, she died of a heart attack. More information has not been revealed about Phogat’s death yet. However, the death of Phogat has also been confirmed by the DGP of Goa. Sonali Phogat became very popular in India on the banned Chinese app, TikTok.
Sonali Phogat’s political career in BJP
Sonali Phogat had contested the last Haryana Assembly elections with the BJP ticket. She had contested against Kuldeep Bishnoi in the Adampur assembly seat of Haryana. She had also claimed that she would contest on a BJP ticket in the upcoming Adampur assembly seat by-election. A few days ago she also met Kuldeep Bishnoi. Kuldeep Bishnoi had recently joined BJP.
According to the information, Sonali Phogat already had a plan to visit Goa from 22nd to 25th August. Sonali Phogat’s personal secretary Sudhir Sangwan and another person from her team were also present with her in Goa. After the news of Sonali Phogat’s death, her family members left for Goa from Bhutan village in the Hisar district of Haryana. Also, in 2016, Sonali Phogat’s husband Sanjay Phogat was also found dead under suspicious circumstances at a farmhouse in Haryana.
