Exit poll results for assembly elections 2022 on Mapsofindia.com

States such as Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Goa went to the polls in their respective phases from February 10 to March 7. Exit polls will start coming after Uttar Pradesh marks the conclusion of the seventh and final phase at 6 pm. Votes for all these states will be counted on March 10.

Media organisations exercise exit polls predicting winners based on a survey with voters, followed by their exit from balloting stations. They take a closer look at how the voters cast their votes and which candidate they prefer in their constituencies using a random or systematic sampling method. MyAxis India, India TV-CNX, NewsX-Polstrat, ABP C-voter, India news-Jan Ki Baat, News24-Chanakya primarily conduct exit polls.

Interesting questions that will be answered:

  •  whether Yogi Adityanath-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh would continue to be in power,
  •  whether Congress in Punjab could win voters’ trust with their poll promises,
  •  Could AAP hold the majority of the seats in Goa?
  • Are Uttarakhand voters satisfied over their chief minister changing time and again?
  • Will BJP come to power for the second time in the history of Manipur?
