What is the fest “India Heritage Walk Fest” all about?
A pan-India event named “India Heritage Walk Fest” has been organised by a joint venture of 2 private organisations throughout the month of February. It is going to cover 20 cities and towns across India. Through this fest, you will be able to see the heritage and culture of India as this festival promises to bring you closer to your beloved cities. This fest encourages the varied audience and makes it accessible to them to explore the tangible and intangible cultural legacies of their cities and towns.
How will the fest help in cultural awareness?
The aim of this fest is to reconnect the present generations with the aesthetic experiences of historic sites and cultural legacy of India. This heritage tourism initiative is theme-based. It is organised for getting the whole-hearted participation and involvement of local communities and citizens which could lead to preservation and promote the agenda of heritage development.
The themes of these walk will range from architectural heritage to gender-related issues which are also designed to regale the specific groups of students, travellers, corporate teams, and children. The “India Heritage Walk Fest” will feature the walks to historical monuments and shrines, well-known landscapes, places known for art and culture, cuisine and, flourishing trade. The Walk festival will also include Baithaks, Instameets and Film screenings showcasing films that examine the myriad social and cultural traditions of the subcontinent.
