We knew we had a future music sensation in Ankit when we heard the Sunn Raha Hai (Aashiqui 2). He started off at a really good note (pun intended). For those who don’t know, the song was composed as well by him. Quite a talent store, isn’t he? The same is the story for the song Galliyan (from the title movie) – both sung and composed by him. For this one, he bagged Best Male Playback Singer Award from Filmfare. He continued on the path to success with the hits like nostalgic Tu Hai Ki Nahi (Roy) and the catchy Dil Cheez Tujhe Dedi (Airlift), to name a few. He has that warm pain in his voice, the stuff which all soul and heart touching music is made up of. There are very few artists for whom we wait anxiously for their next venture, because we know we’ll be having another moving experience of life. And he is one of them.
