Harnaaz Sandhu of India has been crowned Miss Universe 2021. The 70th Miss Universe pageant took place on December 12 this year in Israel. More than 75 beautiful and talented women participated in the preliminary stage of this competition, but women from three countries made it to the top 3, one of them was Harnaaz Sandhu of India. However, leaving behind both South Africa and Paraguay, India’s Harnaaz Sandhu took the crown of the beauty. Sandhu was crowned at the event by Andrea Meza, former Miss Universe 2020 from Mexico. Urvashi Rautela was on the judging panel for the contest of Miss Universe this time.

Know who is Harnaaz Sandhu?

Harnaaz Sandhu, a resident of Chandigarh, Punjab, is a model by profession. 21-year-old Harnaaz gave full attention to studies despite modeling and participating in many pageants and winning. Harnaaz won the title of Miss Chandigarh in the year 2017. After this, she won the title of Miss Max Emerging Star India. After winning these two prestigious titles, Harnaaz participated in Miss India 2019 and then she reached the top 12. Along with modeling, Harnaaz has also ventured into acting. Harnaaz has two Punjabi films ‘Yaara Diya Pu Baran’ and ‘Bai Ji Kuttange’.

India has made its place twice in the Miss Universe pageant. Harnaaz is India’s third Miss Universe. Sushmita Sen represented India in the year 1994, she achieved this crown. At the same time, in the year 2000, Lara Dutta had registered her name on this crown.
