Army Training Command
Headquarters: Shimla, Himachal Pradesh
Also known as ARTRAC, the Army Training Command was established on 1 October 1991. It was earlier situated in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, but was shifted to Shimla, Himachal Pradesh in 1993. The main aim of the command is to provide training to the officers of the Army and also maximize the effectiveness of the training.
Lieutenant General Pattacheruvanda C Thimayya is the present commander of ARTRAC.
