After the unnerving first – ‘Hunt’ and second – ‘Chase’, the third and the final chapter – ‘Revenge’ has been finally released on October 1.
A new character has been introduced in the third trailer of Saif Ali Khan’s revenge drama ‘Laal Kaptaan’, Manav Vij. Vij’s character can be loosely assume to have a link with second chapter where a man wearing thawb and hijab slashes a child with Saif’s dialogue in the background “…jo aankho se dikh jay, wo zakhm hi kya”. However, the hints given in all the three chapters is amorphous for apparent reasons.
However, all the three trailer serves the purpose very well. It gives the right amount of hint of what is going to come without giving away what it could be. The first chapter furnish the look of Khan being a revengeful Naga Sadhu with deadlocks and heavy regional dialect-ed, intense, groaning voice with a hint of a female chieftan of the Naga. The second trailer introduces a new character, a sniffer played by Deepak Dobriyal and his two hounds Sukhiram and Dukhiram who chase the prey by sniffing. Though, the identity of the prey is not intelligible. And in the closing chapter, we could guess the prey to be Rehmat Khan played by Manav Vij.
Connecting dots of all the three chapters raises questions – is the man in disguise slashing a child is Rehmat Khan? Is the incident somehow connected to the vengeful Naga?
